Coordination Mechanism of the Republic of Guatemala.

Country Coordinating Mechanism of the Republic of Guatemala, is a multi Instance, functional and consensus, shaped by national organizations, governmental and non-governmental organizations, international agencies and civil society, whose name may be abbreviated MCP-G.

Henceforth MCP-G, is a body democratically elected Intersectoral that perform actions for the development and submission of proposals and the supervision and monitoring of the processes carried out within the implementation phase of the initiatives approved by the Global Fund for HIV / AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, and that may be called for short GFATM, which is based on results in the range of prevention, control and care, which will take place in an efficient, transparent and broad participation to minimize the risks of the Guatemalan population, with emphasis on poverty reduction through reduction of stigma and discrimination in priority populations in the proposal.

Preferably support and coordinate with other initiatives that are within the strategic plans for HIV / AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and other diseases approved by the Global Fund.
